Thank you to everyone who joined Oxford Hindu Temple and Community Centre Project on Sunday 13th of September 2020
as we marked 12 years of service to the community and also prayed for the souls of the departed.

Havan at Oxford
Gods were smiling down on us on a warm & sunny day.
Today's havan was to pray to Gods to:
* Remove obstacles for Oxford Temple and Community Centre creation.
* Pray for departed souls and honour their memories
* To encourage younger generation to follow the unique peaceful message of the oldest religion of the world
* To appeal for more funds in the most logical way. 400 odd Hindu families can contribute 20£ per month to see a huge temple and community centre.
* Followed by lovely bhajans & inspiring messages from our supporters.
It was telecast on Zoom as we were following Covid 19 restrictions.

• Fun-filled events celebrating Hindu Culture; events that involve all sections of the Community within Oxfordshire; every year we celebrate Holi, Summer Mela and Diwali

• monthly Communal Prayers

• To provide a meeting place geared towards enhancing Spiritual, cultural, social and physical growth based on Hindu principles of duty towards family and society.
