After years of dedication by volunteers and supporters, Oxford Hindu Mandir & Community Centre will welcome the public for its Grand Opening on Saturday 21 June 2026.

The morning will be led by invited dignitaries and faith leaders, with traditional ceremonies to bless the Mandir and community centre. Throughout the programme you can expect uplifting bhajans, live dance performances, and moments for families, elders, and children to celebrate together.

Whether you have supported the project from the beginning or are visiting for the first time, you are warmly invited to share in this sacred and joyful occasion.

On the day

Opening ceremony

The formal opening will be led by invited dignitaries and community leaders, with traditional blessings to mark this historic day for Oxfordshire.

Bhajans & devotional music

Lift your voice with live bhajans and kirtan—sacred songs that bring families, elders, and children together in shared devotion.

Dance & cultural performances

Enjoy classical and folk dance presented by local artists and community groups, celebrating the richness of Hindu culture.
