Plan your journey to the Mandir on Marsh Lane. Choose how you travel below—by car, Park & Ride, public transport, or a combination.

Driving & parking

By car

  • Use postcode OX3 0NQ in your sat nav. The Mandir is on Marsh Lane at Court Farm Place, between Marston and Headington.
  • From the city centre, follow signs for Headington or Marston, then Marsh Lane. From the A40, join the Northern Bypass (A34) and take the Marston / Headington exits towards Marsh Lane.
  • On-street parking nearby is limited—we recommend the site car park below.

Park and Ride

Park at the edge of the city and finish your journey by bus—a good way to avoid congestion and city-centre parking stress.

  • Pear Tree (OX2 8JD) — closest to Marston; on the A34. Use local buses towards Marston (route 9) when you can.
  • Thornhill (OX3 8DP) — on the A40; buses 400 / 700 to Headington, then connect with 9, 14, or X3.
  • Seacourt, Water Eaton, Oxford Parkway, Redbridge — buses to Gloucester Green, then Marston / Headington buses.

Parking at the site

Visitor parking is in the Court Place Farm car park on Marsh Lane—at the same location as the Mandir.

Limited spaces

The car park has 87 spaces. Availability is limited, especially on busy festival days—please arrive early or consider Park & Ride or public transport when you can.

Parking fees and hours can change. Before you visit, check the latest information on the Oxford City Council website and read the signs at the car park on the day.

Public transport

By train

  • Oxford station — mainline from London Paddington, Reading, Birmingham, and elsewhere (~2–3 miles away). Bus to Marston or taxi (~10–15 minutes).
  • Oxford Parkway — Chiltern Railways; connect by bus or taxi via the city or Headington.

Useful routes for Marsh Lane and Court Place Farm:

  • Route 9 — city centre ↔ Marston / Peartree (check stops nearest Marsh Lane).
  • Routes 14, H2, X3— Marston stops a few minutes' walk away (e.g. Horseman Close, Cherwell Drive).
